1. General
By using The RentalNest's services, including rental bookings and marketplace listings, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all customers, renters, and merchants using our website and services.
2. Rentals
All rental items are subject to availability. A refundable bond/deposit may be required for hire items. Products must be returned in the same condition as received. Any damage, loss, or late return may result in partial or full forfeiture of the bond. Hire periods are calculated on a daily basis. Items must be collected and returned at the agreed times. For vehicle rentals, renters must provide a valid driver's licence, which is verified against the booking before handover.
3. Merchant Listings
Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability. The RentalNest takes a 25% service fee on each completed booking. Merchants receive 75% of the rental total, paid via weekly payouts. Merchants must hold a valid ABN and provide accurate banking details.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD). Full payment or deposit (as applicable) must be made at the time of booking.
5. Liability
The RentalNest is a marketplace platform connecting renters with merchants. We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss that occurs during the use of rented items. Renters assume full responsibility for the proper and safe use of all hired equipment.
6. Disputes
In the event of a dispute between a renter and merchant, The RentalNest may facilitate resolution. Both parties agree to act in good faith. The RentalNest reserves the right to withhold payouts or bonds pending dispute resolution.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
